Raising Support for the cause in Nepal

About This Campaign

My name is Pavan Mudiam. I received my degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. I had the privilege to intern with Wine To Water over the Summer of 2016. I am from a small town in Anniston, Alabama, but I have a heart for the nations of the world. My dad is from the nation of India, and I have been blessed to travel there on many occasions. My travels there and other countries around this beautiful earth have helped me to realize my purpose. My mother runs a non-profit health clinic for the poor in my hometown, which has helped to develop my passion to help those with limited access to basic services. I believe the purpose of my life is to use all my skills and strength to help the poor. Wine To Water has given me the opportunity to do that in the country of Nepal. I will be taking the position of International Program Manager at the Wine To Water in Nepal. In accepting this position, I will be one piece of many pieces that come together to help communities in need access safe drinking water. Along with safe drinking water, Wine To Water provides access to education material for proper hygiene and sanitation with every water project. I will be leaving January 2017 to begin work in the fight against the global water crisis. Good vibes and prayers are needed, and if you feel the pull to donate please do so by clicking the link. No amount is too small, and no amount is too great. Thank you for the support, and God bless.

Wine To Water

Campaign to Support Wine To Water

We're a small team based in Boone, NC, who believes ordinary people, in community, can make an extraordinary difference in the world.  This movement began in 2004 when our founder, Doc Hendley, while bartending in Raleigh, NC, learned about the world’s water crisis.  Once captured by the cause, Doc felt the need to do something about it.  So, he did. He did what he knew best…pour some wine, beer, and spirits, play some music, and have a great time with friends. When it was all said and done, a few thousand dollars was raised due to the generosity of the community.  With some money in hand, Doc soon found himself in Darfur, in the midst of a war, working to provide clean water to those who were in desperate need in desperate times.  Thus, Wine To Water was born.
