Salt & Light Tattoo: Nepal Project

Salt & Light Tattoo: Nepal Project

About This Campaign

Matthew 5:13-16 NIV

Salt & Light Tattoo was established in Chandler, Arizona, on March 17th, 2012, by Christian tattooer Matt Geiogamah, alongside his lovely wife, Natilie, who were led by God to be a light in the tattoo community. Offering a fun, clean environment, we are able to bring love and light to anyone who walks through our doors. Salt & Light Tattoo has participated in and hosted many charity events over the last six years, with groups like Street Light USA and In Name and Blood, and we are excited to share with you our newest charity and outreach project with Wine to Water!

We have been and continue to be gifted with many blessings from God, but what good are those blessings if we do not share them with others? Our main goal when working with Wine to Water is to of course help bring fresh, clean drinking water to the hurting children, families and communities in Nepal. In doing so, we are given the opportunity to use our gifts and talents to share Gods love with others by sharing our blessing with them.

We would like to invite anyone and everyone to join us on this journey, and here is how you can get involved!

The book in our lobby contains artist-specific images that are available to be tattooed for FREE with recommended donations made to Wine to Water, a non profit organization. Each design will have a minimum donation amount listed. No changes or additions will be made to these tattoo designs; size and placement is within the artists’ discretion. The artist’s name listed with the design you choose will be the artist tattooing you. Tattoo artists are not compensated for their time. All consultations and scheduling must be done in person. Please refrain from making any donations until you speak with the artist you are planning to work with. Donations can be made right here! These donations are tax deductible.

Appointments will be scheduled on the artists’ days off to ensure the proper amount of time needed to complete the tattoo. These tattoo artists are volunteering their time and are not compensated for their work. Tips are always appreciated but never mandatory.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask our staff! There is more information about the project with Wine to Water available.

Wine To Water

Campaign to Support Wine To Water

We're a small team based in Boone, NC, who believes ordinary people, in community, can make an extraordinary difference in the world.  This movement began in 2004 when our founder, Doc Hendley, while bartending in Raleigh, NC, learned about the world’s water crisis.  Once captured by the cause, Doc felt the need to do something about it.  So, he did. He did what he knew best…pour some wine, beer, and spirits, play some music, and have a great time with friends. When it was all said and done, a few thousand dollars was raised due to the generosity of the community.  With some money in hand, Doc soon found himself in Darfur, in the midst of a war, working to provide clean water to those who were in desperate need in desperate times.  Thus, Wine To Water was born.
