Salt & Light Tattoo: Nepal Project

About This Campaign
Salt & Light Tattoo was established in Chandler, Arizona, on March 17th, 2012, by Christian tattooer Matt Geiogamah, alongside his lovely wife, Natilie, who were led by God to be a light in the tattoo community. Offering a fun, clean environment, we are able to bring love and light to anyone who walks through our doors. Salt & Light Tattoo has participated in and hosted many charity events over the last six years, with groups like Street Light USA and In Name and Blood, and we are excited to share with you our newest charity and outreach project with Wine to Water!
We have been and continue to be gifted with many blessings from God, but what good are those blessings if we do not share them with others? Our main goal when working with Wine to Water is to of course help bring fresh, clean drinking water to the hurting children, families and communities in Nepal. In doing so, we are given the opportunity to use our gifts and talents to share Gods love with others by sharing our blessing with them.
Salt & Light Tattoo has committed to raising $10,000 in donations for Wine to Waters mission in Nepal. We would like to invite you to join us on this journey and heres how you can help! We are offering specific pre drawn designs available now to be tattooed for FREE with a recommended minimum donation made to Wine to Water. Simply choose from one of the designated designs on display in our lobby, then a donation can be made directly to Wine to Water online at the iPad located in our lobby and your appointment can be set. Appointments will be scheduled on the artists’ days off to ensure the proper amount of time needed to complete the tattoo. These tattoo artists are volunteering their time and are not compensated for their work. Tips are always appreciated but never mandatory. In addition to the everyday free tattoo for charity offer we will also be hosting a special one day fundraiser on December 2nd.
On Sunday December 2nd from noon to 6pm we will be offering a free nostril piercing or cross tattoo to anyone of age willing to make a minimum donation of $40 to Wine to Water at the iPad located in our lobby. Nostril piercings will be performed with a nostril screw only and cross tattoos will be limited to the designated flash sheet on our lobby wall done as is or smaller when applicable. Campaign to Support Wine To Water
We're a small team based in Boone, NC, who believes ordinary people, in community, can make an extraordinary difference in the world. This movement began in 2004 when our founder, Doc Hendley, while bartending in Raleigh, NC, learned about the world’s water crisis. Once captured by the cause, Doc felt the need to do something about it. So, he did. He did what he knew best…pour some wine, beer, and spirits, play some music, and have a great time with friends. When it was all said and done, a few thousand dollars was raised due to the generosity of the community. With some money in hand, Doc soon found himself in Darfur, in the midst of a war, working to provide clean water to those who were in desperate need in desperate times. Thus, Wine To Water was born.
